We are very happy to be associated with the e-shop Agata’s World! In this year’s round Agata Helps 2025 we are helping mothers and their children in shelters to understand and experience first-hand how even a simple game together can be the key to building relationships, understanding and trust.

In the project MADE BY which our foundation has been implementing since 2013, the focus is on mothers with children living in shelters. The long-term areas of support are financial literacy, the development and strengthening of parenting skills, household care and employment support.

We would like to introduce you to the MADE BY project – The game is more than words. Because the play between parent and child is essential for the development of the child and for the quality of the relationship. It helps to build a secure bond that is the basis for the child’s mental well-being and healthy emotional development. In addition to the emotional and relational dimension, play is also intrinsically beneficial in supporting children’s cognitive development. Through play, a child develops thinking, memory, attention and problem-solving skills.

What are the objectives of the project?

• Purchase of special therapeutic blankets for the “Family Play” method for selected shelters.
• Training of shelter workers in the “Family Play” method by the authors of the method, the HOST Home – Start ČR.
• Coordination and supervision of the implementation of the project activities and support to individual shelters.
• Funds raised in excess of the planned budget will be used to purchase vitamins, toothbrushes and toothpaste for children living in participating shelters.
