The “1,000 Miles of Czechoslovakia” auction raised 168,000 CZK to support young adults
On Saturday, the crews of this year’s legendary 1000 Czechoslovak miles historic vehicle race, which traditionally combines the elegance of automotive history with support for a good cause, crossed the finish line at the National Technical Museum in Prague on Letná. The program culminated with the ceremonial announcement of the results and the presentation of a check to the Tereza Maxová Foundation.
Two days earlier, a charity auction was held at the headquarters of the Czech Republic Automobile Club on Opletalova Street, once again featuring collectibles and memorabilia related to the race. We are thrilled to have raised 168,000 CZK this year. The proceeds will go toward supporting young adults from children’s homes who are on the threshold of independent living and need safe guidance, support, and the opportunity to start out with confidence.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all bidders, partners, and organizers—especially the Veteran Car Club Prague, the Czech Republic Automobile Club, and the National Technical Museum. Your support makes a real difference in the lives of those who are learning to stand on their own two feet.
Congratulations to all the competitors on successfully completing the race!
