It is almost thirty years since the foundation was founded, and for you, Bohunka and Míra, a reminder of the time when you came to the orphanage. Our paths soon crossed, and what makes me really happy is that you are still part of our big foundation family today.

I remember you, Míra, as a little boy sitting at the piano and Bohunka quietly coming on stage and singing like a great opera diva. Everyone was in awe. Similarly, not one eye was left dry when you arrived at my wedding as a surprise and sang Dvořák’s Rusalka to remind me where my home was. I know that your home was in Pilsen at the Domino Children’s Home and that your life’s journey has not been easy.

And I am so proud of you both, how you have managed to cope with everything life has thrown at you, how you have successfully graduated from university, have families and how you are standing firmly on your feet today.

I’m so glad I have you.
