Floods collection of the Tereza Maxová Foundation

The current situation associated with the devastating floods has affected the lives of many Czech residents. Especially in Moravia the material losses are huge at the moment. The Tereza Maxová Foundation offers help to families at risk, but also to children’s homes, where we continuously map the current state of needs. For this reason, a public collection has been opened, where anyone who wants to contribute to concrete help can contribute. THANK YOU!

The public collection’s data:

A special bank account is opened for this public collection (number: S-MHMP / 1501799/2012), kept with UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia

Collection account number: 2102710424/2700

Variable collection symbol: 15092024

We currently support: mainly household equipment, clothing, hygiene products, baby supplies and more.

The Tereza Maxová Foundation has been involved in helping during the floods of 1997 and 2002. We are here with you to help those in need now.

The patron of the foundation, Tereza Maxová, says: “In 1997, Moravia was hit by a huge flood. The orphanages and children’s homes had to be evacuated, along with the villages where they were located. We went into the field in our boots, with a car loaded with diapers and toiletries. I remember that devastation, as well as 2002, when the Foundation responded immediately to help those in need. This year, too, the overwhelming force of the flood turned mainly on Moravian towns and villages.”

Tereza adds to the Foundation’s assistance: “We are ready to once again help families and children in need with what they need most right now – new home furnishings, clothing, hygiene and baby supplies. I believe that in times of crisis, we as a society can come together and support each other.”

The Tereza Maxová Foundation is convinced of the power of belonging and humbly thanks you for your support, which is greatly appreciated!
